Villa Vespucci looks out across the Bay of Ieranto from an elevated position near Marina del Cantone, where the Sorrento Peninsula meets the Amalfi Coast. The villa sits within walking distance of local shops and restaurants, two minutes by car from the beach at Marina del Cantone—renowned for its seafood trattorias—and thirty minutes from Sorrento. Naples Capodichino Airport is approximately ninety minutes away.
The three-storey property has a contemporary, tailored appearance, its interiors distinguished by custom-designed furniture, original artwork, and an eclectic mix of pieces that create warmth within the clean-lined spaces. The ground floor living room draws on natural textures and a palette of crisp whites and coastal blues inspired by the sea beyond, whilst picture windows flood the rooms with light. A large wooden dining table seats up to fourteen, and the fully equipped galley kitchen opens onto the main living areas. A fireplace adds warmth for cooler evenings.
Two panoramic terraces provide settings for sunbathing with views along the coastline. At the rear, a private swimming pool is surrounded by a sundeck with loungers. A covered outdoor living area—complete with kitchen and seating—offers the kind of shaded space where most guests find themselves spending their days, whilst a plunge pool with hydro jets occupies the first floor terrace, its waters reflecting the night sky to create an atmosphere that lingers in memory.
The villa's position allows easy exploration of the region. Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Mount Vesuvius lie within reach, as do the coastal towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Capri is a short hydrofoil crossing from Sorrento. Boat trips to the secluded cove at Recommone—where La Conca del Sogno serves lunch to those arriving by sea—can be arranged.
