Villa San Luigi is a 652-square-metre private retreat set within the 300-hectare estate of COMO Castello del Nero in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti wine region. The property comprises 3 buildings—the main Casa Colonica, a separate Annex with cinema room, and a dedicated wellness pavilion—offering 6 bedrooms that accommodate up to 12 guests. Florence Airport is 30 minutes by car, with private transfers to and from the airport or train station included in every stay, while Florence and Siena are each around 40 minutes away via the complimentary scheduled shuttle that connects the villa to the main hotel throughout the day.

The villa occupies an elevated position surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined hills. The Renaissance cities are within easy reach for day trips—the Uffizi, the Duomo, the Piazza del Campo—yet the countryside offers its own rewards. Truffle hunting expeditions set off from the estate grounds, wine tastings unfold in 12th-century cellars, and hot air balloon flights lift guests above the patchwork of vines at sunrise. The medieval hill town of San Gimignano, with its towers and vernaccia wine, lies 20 minutes to the west.

The main building contains an expansive living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and an indoor dining room, while a covered pergola provides space for alfresco meals. Entertainment systems are fitted throughout, and a study, library, and cinema room are available in the Annex. Each morning begins with an à la carte breakfast prepared by a private chef who arrives at the villa—orders are placed the evening before, and service lasts approximately 1 hour—while the rental also includes a pizza-making session and Chianti wine tasting in the villa, both hosted experiences that bring the estate's culinary heritage directly to guests. The separate wellness pavilion houses a fitness room, sauna, steam bath, and yoga studio for private use. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, minibar with tea and coffee-making facilities, and COMO Shambhala bathroom amenities.

The grounds include a 16-metre private heated swimming pool with sun loungers, and guests have full access to the facilities at COMO Castello del Nero as part of the rental. The COMO Shambhala Retreat spa—with its thermal suite, heated indoor vitality pool, and 25-metre outdoor pool during the warmer months—is open to villa guests, as are the Technogym-equipped fitness centre and daily yoga and Pilates classes in the hotel's dedicated studios, which are complimentary though booking is required. The 2 tennis courts and padel court are likewise included, with racquets and balls provided. In-room spa treatments can be arranged at the villa itself. The estate offers 4 waymarked hiking trails, and mountain bikes, Vespas, and vintage Fiat 500s can be rented. Dining at the hotel includes Michelin-starred La Torre. Villa guests receive a private check-in and twice-daily housekeeping, with laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing services also included. Babysitting can be arranged on request. Private parking is provided at the villa.
