The Amalfi Coast towns of Positano and Praiano lie 30 minutes along the coastal road, whilst the island of Capri is accessible by a 30-minute ferry from Sorrento's harbour. Pompeii's archaeological site can be visited within 45 minutes to an hour by car or train, with Ravello approximately 90 minutes away. Naples, with its museums, churches, and historic centre, is just over an hour's drive.
