Villa Persimmon lies within the 25-hectare Monaci delle Terre Nere estate on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, surrounded by olive trees, lavender, and orchards. This 4-bedroom villa combines natural materials and contemporary design, with chestnut wood ceiling beams, large glass windows, and views across the estate to the sea.
Taormina and its ancient Greek theatre are 40 minutes by car, or guests can take the complimentary shuttle service that operates twice daily from the resort. Giardini Naxos is 30 minutes away. Mount Etna can be reached by guided hike, horseback, e-bike tour, or helicopter departing from the estate's helipad.
The interior is arranged across warm, light-filled rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of Etna and the Mediterranean. As guests of Monaci delle Terre Nere, access to all resort facilities is included: Locanda Nerello for Sicilian cuisine reinterpreted with a refined approach, the Convivium Bar for evening drinks, and a programme of activities from yoga to wine tastings. A new restaurant under a Michelin-starred chef will open in 2026. A complimentary selection of Etna white and sparkling wines is provided with the villa.
The private swimming pool and equipped garden create an outdoor living space for relaxation, with the surrounding countryside offering walking trails through the estate's vineyards and orchards.
