Taormina and its Greek theatre sit approximately an hour to the north, whilst Siracusa and the island of Ortigia are an hour's drive in the opposite direction. The nearest beaches at Santa Tecla are approximately 25 minutes away. The nearest town is a 5-minute drive, and a car is recommended for exploring the wider area.
