Villa Montepulciano is a late 18th-century residence set within 60 acres of private parkland near Chiusi, where Tuscany meets Umbria at the southern edge of the Val d'Orcia UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by century-old pine trees, olive groves, and manicured gardens, the estate offers 7 bedrooms across 3 floors—4 on the piano nobile and a 3-bedroom private apartment above—with the flexibility to accommodate both smaller groups and larger parties of family or friends.
Montepulciano and Pienza, icons of Renaissance architecture and Tuscan wine country, are a short drive away. The medieval villages of Sarteano, Cetona, and Città della Pieve offer Etruscan history and quieter charm. The surrounding landscape of vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads provides the setting for wine and olive oil tastings, truffle hunting, cooking classes, and guided cultural tours with local historians. Horseback riding, trekking, and e-bike or quad excursions through the Val d'Orcia can be arranged from the estate.
The ground floor centres on a grand living room with marble fireplace, a formal dining room with piano, a TV room, and a study. A fully equipped modern kitchen allows for private chef service or independent meal preparation—continental breakfast and lunch are prepared daily by the in-house chef, with the cost of food charged separately.
