Above Marina del Cantone on the Sorrento Peninsula, Villa Cantone descends through terraced gardens towards the sea, its three floors of living space oriented to capture views across the Gulf of Salerno. At 600 square metres, this is one of the largest private villas on the coast—a property designed for extended families and groups of up to twenty, with ten ensuite bedrooms, an elevator connecting the floors, and outdoor spaces that spread across multiple levels: a swimming pool with infinity edge, a jacuzzi, a wood-burning pizza oven, and al fresco dining areas positioned to make the most of the panorama.
The villa sits on the outskirts of Massa Lubrense, a three-minute drive from Marina del Cantone's beach and restaurants, or a half-mile walk down through the terraced landscape. The SITA bus stop for the Sorrento-Massa Lubrense-Nerano line lies just metres from the property, making the villa practical without a car. Sorrento is forty minutes by car, with hydrofoil connections from there to Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Ischia, and Naples. Naples Capodichino Airport is approximately an hour and forty-five minutes' drive. Below the villa, Marina del Cantone has developed a reputation as one of the peninsula's finest destinations for seafood, with several celebrated restaurants lining the beach and the nearby cove at Recommone—the latter best reached by boat—offering what many consider some of the most memorable dining on the entire coast.
