Set within a 6-hectare Mediterranean park of century-old olive trees and Mediterranean gardens outside Cisternino, this trullo property accommodates 12 guests across 6 bedrooms — 3 in the main building and 3 in separate annexes distributed across the grounds. Brindisi Airport is around 45 minutes by car.
The Valle d'Itria unfolds as a broad, sun-filled landscape of dry-stone walls, ancient olive groves, and the distinctive conical rooftops of trulli — an architecture found almost nowhere else on earth and at its most concentrated in this stretch of Puglia. Cisternino, around 7 minutes by car, is among the region's finest historic towns: its tightly woven streets and carnivore-focused food culture have made it a destination in its own right, quite apart from the better-known towns nearby. Locorotondo is around 12 minutes; Alberobello, the UNESCO World Heritage Site at the heart of trulli country, around 25 minutes; and Fasano's coastline — with sandy beaches and well-equipped beach clubs — is around 15 to 20 minutes away. Monopoli, with its walled old town and harbour, is within around 30 minutes.
The architecture of the property represents a careful restoration that integrates the original trullo structures and local white stone with contemporary design — the result is interiors that feel rooted in their landscape without sacrificing comfort or refinement. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the central living room with light and connect the sofa lounge and dining area to the garden; a fully equipped kitchen with ice-maker, induction hob, and coffee station completes the main living space. The master bedroom in the central building has a bathtub and shower; 2 further bedrooms have ensuite shower bathrooms, with one also accessible via a separate external entrance. 2 adjacent conical trullini set just off the central area each contain a double bedroom with ensuite shower, whilst a third annex beside the pool provides a further double bedroom with private bathroom.
The private heated saltwater pool of 75 square metres is the focal point of the outdoor space, surrounded by a solarium with a piped music system. A circular stone gazebo houses a 17-seat outdoor dining table, wood-fired pizza oven, and barbecue; a second circular stone gazebo, conceived separately as a relaxation area, offers stone seating dressed with cushions for quieter moments away from the dining and cooking space. An exclusive padel court and a kitchen garden — where seasonal vegetables and fruit are grown for guests' use — complete the grounds. The villa also features an area with yoga and massage pavilion shared with the sister property, Trullo Cisternino One.
