Masseria La Pietra is located in the heart of the Apulian countryside, offering both seclusion and convenience. Surrounded by 10,000 square metres of olive groves, the villa ensures complete privacy, allowing guests to escape the hustle and bustle. Nearby attractions include the fortified town of Acaya, just 1 kilometre away and reachable on foot, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lecce, a few minutes away by car. Within a short drive, guests can also explore the Adriatic beaches, the baroque town of Nardò, and the historic town of Otranto with its castle and seaside views.
Nestled on the outskirts of Lecce, this 16th-century estate is rich in character and history. Originally built by Jesuit monks, the villa features a rare underground olive oil mill and an 18th-century colonnade, testaments to its enduring architectural and spiritual heritage.
The Masseria is arranged around a central courtyard, accessed via a historic, rutted path once worn by horse-drawn carts. The outdoor spaces are designed for both relaxation and convivial gatherings, with a 17x5-metre pool (heating available on request), a stone bar, a barbecue area, a brick pizza oven, and several furnished terraces. A small private chapel and ancient olive mills add charm and cultural depth, whilst ample parking and security service provide comfort and convenience.
Spread across 3 elegant buildings, the estate can accommodate up to 20 guests, making it well suited for large gatherings or events. The main building includes a large living room, dining area for 18, a bar, a billiard room, a vaulted wine cellar, and TV lounge. Guests can also enjoy a spa, gym, and high-end amenities including smart TVs, fireplaces, and a fully equipped professional kitchen.
