This corner of Chianti rewards exploration at a leisurely pace—winding roads lead to the wine villages of Greve, Radda, and Castellina, where tastings at historic estates such as Antinori and Castello di Brolio reveal the depth of the region's winemaking heritage. San Gimignano's medieval towers rise 40 minutes to the west, whilst the celebrated butcher Dario Cecchini in Panzano draws food lovers from across the globe. Closer to home, the villa's own estate encompasses 350 olive trees, over 100 walnut trees, and several acres of woodland crossed by a small river along its southern boundary—ideal for morning walks before the heat of the day.
